Welcome to Sharpshorts Day Trading Blog
This is my "How I do it" blog, created for two main reasons
2) For you -- to share my 40+ years of trading experiences and success
This blog describes what works for me
I advocate continually taking small bits and pieces out the markets rather than
trying to time the "big move"... My trading is all about timing positive reversals.
REVERSALS RULE! - I Trade Price Action patterns that CONSTANTLY REPEAT
These patterns print on charts every day - In ANY market - On ANY time frame.
My trading method in a nutshell I:
The chart example below spans less than 10 minutes and shows
quite typical Price Action that occurs in all markets.
30 tick chart of the RLM (mini Russell 2000 futures). This example is from 2013.
Why trade the e-mini futures? Low Risk and High Reward
Take out bits-and-pieces at a time

Develop a personal bag of tricks to use as your tools.
Consider them to be like a Chinese menu: pick one from column A...etc.
They don't have to be present at the same time but often are.
Here's some of mine (described in detail on pages 1 thru 10
in the table of contents on the right hand side of this page ).
My trading method in a nutshell II:
The example below shows an early morning trade before the majors open.
Quite typical Price Action that occurs all day long.
15 tick chart of the YM (mini DJIA-30 futures). This example is from 2019.
Long term charts are for perspective...
(Dailies, hourly, 15 minute etc.)
Personally I like to view the entire current session via Tick charts.
This requires changing the chart's ticks-per-bar setting throughout the session
depending on the level of market activity, which is different each day...
Although I generally trade off of very short term charts, the long term
can clue you in to the current outlook of traders.

Indicator histograms, like TRIX and MACD highlight trader's mood very well...
These chart sets show some long term time frames
from a "typical" morning session and how I analyze the action

Of course I think all the pages in the Table of Contents
are important for understanding "how I do it".
It's up to each reader to determine what value my musings may offer.
